Our first blog!  How exciting, especially if you know us very well...technology and all...
First let me explain our title, "Our Season of Singing."  We found a great thought in Song of Solomon chapter two verses eleven and twelve.  
           "See!  The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.
           Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come."
We thought this was a great description of how we're feeling as we begin our Crossroads DTS adventure.  We are expecting some great stuff from the Lord for ALL of us!  We are ready to enjoy a "season of singing" now that winter is coming to a close.  God has been so good to us.  We can't wait to see what's in store for the next few months!  
For particulars, we leave April 5 heading to Kona for twelve weeks for our school phase and then to parts as yet unknown for eight weeks for our outreach phase.  We'll return August 24.  
Excitement, nervousness, overwhelming expectation...all describe how most of us are feeling right now.  We're trying to get our ducks in a row so to speak.  Jesse will be here holding down the fort while we're pining away for him in Hawaii.  Good thing there are beaches and warm sunshine to help in that department! :)
Our goal is to post as often as we can.  For now it will be pretty sporadic as we're not there yet, but we do have things to share about how plans are going and all.  I'm hoping to get everyone in on the action in posting, so look forward to reports from Jay, Luke, Meng Juan, as well as me.  Should be fun!
